We had the privilege to attend the very first Recovery Café facilitated through the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services in West Philly.
Local behavioral and mental health agencies from around the area gathered at Lucien E. Blackwell Library to share information on resources available to those seeking help.
We were happy to hear stories of recovery and to share with the community what Horizon House is all about.
There were also refreshments such as Wawa coffee, drinks, and snacks provided to give the gathering more of a “café” feel!
