Challenge social media communities, friends, and followers to have conversations about mental illness, intellectual disabilities or homelessness, how you are involved and what a difference it makes to you personally. Challenge others to become involved.

Invite Us

Invite us to speak at an intimate gathering of your friends or at organizational meetings and associations to which you may belong.

SPEND TIME

Attend an Event

Horizon House has a variety of events each year. Check the Horizon House Home Page for upcoming events, such as our Golf Outing, Comedy Sportz Improv, Theater Show, or Shopping Fest. Join our mailing list and you will receive emails alerting you to upcoming events. You’ll have a great time and at the same time make a difference in someone’s life.

Volunteer

Volunteers are integral to the work we do at Horizon House. As a volunteer, you can participate in activities that use your strengths and life experiences or challenge you to do new and different things.

Intern

In collaboration with Philadelphia area colleges and universities, undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning the workings of a non-profit human service organization can participate in hands-on experiences that help students achieve their personal, academic and professional goals.

Community Service

Choose Horizon House for your high school or college community service project. There are many different ways you can participate and make a difference in someone’s life.

RAISE FUNDS

Host an Event

Host a “friendraising” and/or fundraising event at your home or place of business. This is a great way to build awareness and raise money for individuals served by Horizon House and foster new relationships with people who may need the goods or services you offer.

Crowdfund

Crowdfunding is an innovative new way to donate to a cause through social media. Crowdfunding allows an individual to initiate or join a grassroots online movement of like-minded individuals to benefit a special project or activity. We can help you identify a special project based on your ideas and interests.
