Horizon House is happy to share some of the wonderful pictures we took yesterday at our 30th Annual Golf Outing Classic in Memory of Dr. Larry Real. We had a great time providing an amazing experience to our golfers as they played their way around the Huntingdon Valley Country Club. The event was a huge success thanks to the beautiful weather, our awesome volunteers, and of course our generous sponsors. We would like to give a special thank you to our sponsors for their time and commitment to this very important day. This day would not be possible without their participation. Thanks for helping to make a positive impact on our programs and the participants we serve across the Philadelphia region!

Horizon House is proud to share our participation in sponsoring a team in the Eagles Autism Challenge charity event that took place last Saturday. Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was humbled by the efforts of nearly 4,500 participants who came together to raise a total of 6.2 million dollars for this wonderful mission. Even the rain could not stop all of the players, coaches, bikers, runners, and walkers from showing their support and enjoying this celebration. A huge thank you goes out to our awesome Horizon House team for taking part!

Horizon House was happy to team up with Community Health and Gardens, Inc. in West Philadelphia yesterday afternoon to plant some seeds in the dirt. We had a great volunteer turnout with some staff and participants from one of our Behavioral Health Services, the Wellness Alliance. Everyone had a wonderful time pitching in and getting their hands dirty. We raked, shoveled, pulled weeds, and watered the new seeds for this lovely community garden. To top it all off, the weather was sunny and perfect for a nice afternoon spent together!
